We are always looking for volunteers to help out at Upcycle Kernow, and currently have vacancies for the following volunteer positions.

Once we have completed the building refurbishment, our opportunities for volunteering will change, so be sure to check back in the spring if there is nothing suitable for you at the moment.

Skilled Tradespeople to assist in our Community Build - we are looking for plumbers, painters & decorators, bricklayers, electricians, and carpenters to join our community build to create a warm, dry, eco-friendly workshop & studio space that will be accessible to a variety of community groups.

What can you donate?
We accept a variety of tools for use in our workshop which helps to support our busy Tool Library and Repair Cafe (which is due to start again in March 2025).

Selected textiles, haberdashery, wood, diy equipment, and arts & craft materials are also utilized throughout our various projects. If you would like to donate any of these items, please contact us to arrange delivery, as storage is key during our refurbishment.
Recycle...
You can recycle lots of the items you can't pop in your kerbside collections - batteries, printing ink cartridges, small electrical items including vapes, and selected Terracyle items. Click here to learn more about what you can bring for recycling...
